Volunteer

At Crustacean Compassion, we are dedicated to campaigning for the better treatment of decapod crustaceans such as crabs, lobsters, and prawns, and volunteers play a vital role in expanding the reach and impact of our work.

Your support helps us deliver our mission and expand the skills and experience of the team.

We strive to ensure that volunteer opportunities are both meaningful and rewarding for you.

As a volunteer, you’ll be involved in a variety of activities, from helping us spread awareness to gathering information that supports our evidence-based research. Each volunteer will receive a role description tailored to their specific contributions, ensuring clarity and purpose in your work with us.

Types of volunteering

Since Crustacean Compassion operates remotely without a central office, you’ll be volunteering from home, so please ensure you have a safe and comfortable setup. Your work will help us protect decapod crustaceans, and in some instances, your volunteer hours can even be used as matched funding for grants, providing invaluable support to our cause.

Together, we can create a kinder world for these often-overlooked creatures. Join us today!
